Who?

Well, usually everywhere I just go by Sam. You can see most of my links (including here!) from my website. I am kind of a scatterbrain of interests, where I can talk about things like history, finance, and technology.

This box/pubnix/whatever was my idea to begin with. I asked ~grumb if he wanted to help run it to and he said yes, so we now run it together.

Why?

It really boils down to three things:

1. Why not? With all of the chaos of the modern Internet, taking things slow can be good. Why suffer the slings and arrows of chaos when you can just chill? See my blog post about how less is more.
2. I saw places like the tildezone and thought it was a cool concept of a previous age.
3. I had a spare server lying around.

So the ZONE came into being.

Will I do anything more to this?

I am currently working on a #100DaysToOffload challenge on my blog, so writing here will be sparse. Eventually I would like to write shorter things here like reviews or lists of things I like, like podcasts or games.
